Predixa is back online, with the candle race

Predixa is back online. The upgrade is complete and app.predixa.xyz is open again, with every market live and all features working as normal.

It also brings something new: the candle race.

What the candle race is

The candle race is a short-format market where you bet on the shape of the next five 1-minute candles instead of a final price. Each round covers a 5-minute window on a single asset. Pick Green if you expect more green candles than red ones in that window, or Red if you expect the opposite. There is nothing to sell or re-price along the way. The bet is placed once and settled when the round ends.

Entry closes a minute before the round opens

Entry closes exactly one minute before the round opens. The countdown on the round page runs to the round's start, so the last minute of it is already closed for new bets. At that point the bet form switches to "Entry for this round is closed".

Once entry is closed you can no longer join this round or change your side. The next round for the same asset is already open, and the "Play next round" button takes you straight to it.

The win multiplier

Every round has a fixed win multiplier, shown on the card before you place the bet. If your side wins, your payout is your stake multiplied by that number. If it loses, you lose the stake you entered with. Both sides are an even bet, so the multiplier does not depend on which side you pick or on how much has been staked on either side.

How a round is scored

At the end of the round each of the five 1-minute candles is scored: green when its close is greater than or equal to its open, red otherwise. The side with more candles wins, so a round always ends 3:2, 4:1 or 5:0. A tie is impossible with an odd number of candles.

Candle data comes from the Binance spot feed for the trading pair named in the round title, and the round is settled by that data, not by other sources or spot markets. The final score appears on the round page once the backend has settled it.
